Claremont Graduate University's Institute for Research on Social Issues conducts research on civic participation, volunteerism, interpersonal relationships, physical and mental health, and the relationship between these constructs.
The research programs currently underway at the Institute for Research on Social Issues (IRSI) fall into three separate but interrelated domains:
Sexual minority experiences, community support, and health & life outcomes
Pathways to civic engagement, community involvement, or volunteerism
The social psychological antecedents and concomitants of exposure to nature and prosocial & sustainable/conservation behavior
